Colosa, Inc. (“COLOSA”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information that we collect. This Privacy Policy discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for our publicly available website at www.processmapper.com for our commercial ProcessMapper on-demand business process modeling and automation service, which is accessed through the internet (the “Service”). The Service is available only to users authorized by organizations and individuals that have entered into an online or written signed agreement with COLOSA for the Service (“Service Agreement”). Nothing in this Privacy Policy should be interpreted to modify, delete or add terms to the Service Agreement.

COLOSA is committed to transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your personal information. COLOSA complies with the U.S. – E.U. Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal data from the European Union. Information regarding the E.U. Information Collected

Visitors to the Public Site are not required to reveal any personally identifiable information to COLOSA. Visitors to the Public Site who wish to receive information regarding COLOSA products or services may provide us with certain contact information including telephone number, fax number, email address, and mailing address.

Through use of the Service, you may provide certain personal information for use and handling by COLOSA solely for provision and maintenance of the Service.

When you visit the Public Site, we may send one or more cookies - small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may use your personal information to provide you with information about COLOSA’s services, business partners, promotions, and events. Marketing emails from COLOSA will contain instructions on how to opt out of receiving further marketing emails from COLOSA. You will also have the right to opt out of any disclosure of your personal information to a third party or use of your personal information for a purpose incompatible with the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by you.

We may use cookies and log information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Public Site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (e) track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions and contests.

We may also use your email address or phone (if provided by you) to contact you regarding Service changes; system maintenance and outage issues; account issues; or to otherwise troubleshoot problems.

COLOSA provides business modeling and mapping services as part of the Service. COLOSA does not access or review any contents of any documents uploaded as a part of the Services, unless you give specific permission to such access and/or use in connection with COLOSA’s handling of a support issue. In no event does COLOSA collect or use any personal information that you may include in any such documents. Also, you acknowledge and agree that you or your employer may enable various other users to access documents containing your personally identifiable information. COLOSA is not responsible for how such parties may use your personally identifiable information.

Onward transfer of Information

Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, COLOSA will not disclose any personally identifiable information provided by a visitor to the Public Site to a third party unless the visitor has consented to such disclosure. In particular COLOSA does not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

We may provide personally identifiable information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and contractors for the purpose of providing and maintaining the Service and for responding to your requests. COLOSA also reserves the right to disclose personally identifiable information and/or other information about users that COLOSA believes, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to enforce its agreements, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of our Service, and to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of COLOSA, our users or others.

COLOSA will not disclose any personally identifiable information to a third party unless (i) the individual has consented to such disclosure and (ii) COLOSA has ascertained that the third party either subscribes to the Safe Harbor principles or has entered into an agreement with COLOSA that is consistent with the Safe Harbor principles.

Aggregate information of COLOSA client data, not containing any personally identifiable information, may be provided to COLOSA clients or prospects or disclosed in COLOSA materials.

Access

An individual wishing to review or update personally identifiable information stored in COLOSA’s systems should contact COLOSA by sending an e-mail to COLOSA as described below. We will respond to your request for access within 30 days.

Security and Data Integrity

COLOSA takes reasonable technical, administrative and physical steps to protect against unauthorized access to and disclosure of personally identifiable information. COLOSA uses computer security mechanisms including firewalls, monitoring software, and passwords to protect client data stored on COLOSA computer systems. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

COLOSA provides information and training to all employees who have access to data maintained on behalf of COLOSA clients and prospective clients, and COLOSA employees are responsible for the internal security of such information. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you make comment our blog or on this Web site, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. Our Web site includes Widgets, which are interactive mini-programs that run on our site to provide specific services from another company (e.g. displaying the news, opinions, music, etc).
